B05 We Sail Better Together: Working with Other Churches

Ahoy there! Ever wondered what pirate ships and the future of The Episcopal Church have in common? You’re one of many, and you’ve come to the right place—but you’ll only know the answer after you complete this workshop! In this session, learn how to journey with our ecumenical partners, grasp what full communion means, and prepare for the General Convention 82 vote on full communion with the United Methodist Church. Ecu-what?! We’ll start by exploring what that word means. We'll also practice dialogue, learn the nuts and bolts of how to work with other churches in mission and ministry, and test our knowledge to win fun prizes! Come with your questions, your enthusiasm, and your best piracy jokes; leave with new tips and tools to equip your parish.
