C08 Processes for Peace: Holding Space for the Spirit

This workshop will talk about practices that allow us to live into our baptismal vows, personally and communally. Connecting our personal beliefs with how we act on them in the world, we will talk about how group processes like world cafe, small group discussion, or larger mediation practices hold space for the Spirit to flow, rather than being regulated by rules and laws.
 
Sometimes the process is actually a theory we apply to behavior that we see around us, giving us understanding to guide our own response in community life. At LMPC, we ascribe to Bowen Family System Theory.
 
There will be opportunities to practice some techniques to illustrate these processes and theories as well!
