C14 Code Switching with Morse Code Jewelry

As LGBTQIA2S+ people, we have to walk multiple worlds. For some, with multiple identities (folks of Color, differently-abled, Youth, Immigrants, etc.), this journey is even more complicated. Code switching is the use of one dialect, accent, mannerism, or language over another, depending on the social or cultural context, to assist in the building of rapport or relationship with others of a particular group. In this workshop we will discuss code switching a bit. However, most of the time will be spent making a coded bracelet or necklace using beads and Morse code.
