Community Expectations & Covenant
All of our programs are based on the Baptismal Covenant: We believe in God. We will seek to continue in the Apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of the bread and prayers. We will persevere in resisting evil and whenever we fall into sin will repent and return to Christ. We will proclaim by word and example the Good news of God in Jesus Christ. We will seek and serve Christ in all persons loving our neighbors as ourselves. We will strive for justice and peace among all people and respect the dignity of every human being.
We will be living in community for the duration of the event and as such, we need to agree to some things that will make our life together run smoothly. Please read these expectations and sign at the bottom of the page.
1) I will respect the person, property, feelings, and beliefs of each member in our community.
2) I will treat others with respect and work to resolve conflict directly with the individual involved.
3) I will not participate in inappropriate physical or sexual contact. Participants are only allowed to sleep or be present in the sleeping units assigned.
4) I will wear appropriate clothing that allows me to fully participate. I agree to any additional dress-code requirements for special activities.
5) I will not bring alcohol, illegal drugs, marijuana, vapes, tobacco products, fireworks, or weapons. The event coordinator reserves the right to search belongings at any time.
6) I will submit all medications (prescription and over the counter) in their original containers to the lead chaperone upon arrival.
7) I will not leave during the event without permission from the event coordinator. It is the expectation that participants will stay for the entire event.
8) I will fully participate in all events as expected. If I do not feel called to participate at all times my presence and respect is still expected.
Cell Phone Policy: Cell phones are allowed during the event at the discretion of the event coordinator. If phone privileges are abused or if phones are determined to be a distraction to the event, phones will be collected and kept in a locked box for the duration of the event. Participants must have headphones for any phone use in vans or rooms.

Participant Acknowledgement of Community Expectations & Covenant *

I understand that the above behaviors are non-negotiables and the consequences will include one or more of the following: 1) my parent/guardian(s) will be notified, 2) I will be removed from the activity or session, or 3) I will be sent home at my families' expense. I understand that the covenant and expectations are designed to create a safe and welcoming space for all participants and that violations of the covenant will have consequences. I have read the covenant with my parent/guardian and agree to abide by the expectations above.

Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement of Community Covenant *

As parent and/or legal guardian of this child I have read the above and believe that they are capable of following these community expectations and rules. I also understand that if my child fails to meet these expectations, I will be contacted and could be asked to bring my child home from the event at my families' expense.

Transportation Release Statement: *

I give full permission for my child to be transported to activities in conjunction with this event, including being able to attend and participate in all activities, including being moved from the main event area to the overnight accommodations

By submitting this registration, I hereby grant permission to Province V to interview, photograph, and/or videotape me/my child. It is my understanding that these recordings or portions thereof will be used for distribution or promotional materials. I agree to participate in these projects without financial remuneration, and I understand that this releases the organization from any future claims, as well as from any liability, arising from the use of the recording.

Waiver of Liability: I release Province V and any of the dioceses involved in this event, its agents, employees, officers, directors and volunteers, from any liability of any kind or nature that may arise in any way from my child’s participation in this event.*
