WHERE AM I GOING??
Kalamazoo, Michigan!* - a map
Travel by car, plane, or train!
Come to downtown Kalamazoo for the program times. St. Luke's Episcopal Church is our host. A variety of area churches are providing space for our workshops. (See this map that shows Bronson Park and the surrounding churches - including St. Luke's Episcopal.)
The website and future emails will give you more instructions about specific locations for the different events.
*(The geographic center of the Province is just south of Kalamazoo... we worked to make this event as central as possible)
WHERE DO I STAY??
This webpage has all of the information that you need for your housing options.
They include:
PARKING (or there is no parking...)
Please do not plan on driving or parking downtown (especially on Friday). Downtown Kalamazoo is particularly difficult and there will be many closed streets due to construction.
Shuttles will be provided between conference hotels and St. Luke's. Taxis, Lyft, and Uber are all available.
(The St. Luke's parking lot is available to staff of St. Luke's and those with handicap stickers/tags.)
If you are a commuter, there are 3 parking ramps available. They are all public lots.
Epic Center Ramp, 136 E South St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007
Peregrine Parking, 336 S Kalamazoo Mall #702, Kalamazoo, MI 49007
Kalamazoo Mall Parking, 130 Portage Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007
CAN I REALLY BRING MY CHILD?
YES!!!!
Infant care will be available for all program times (Friday, 9:30 am - 6 pm and Saturday, 8:30 am - 3 pm)
A children's program called "Peace Camp" is available for elementary aged children.
Youth (middle / high schoolers) are invited to participate as they would like - attending plenary sessions and workshops, or volunteering at Peace Camp, the Messy Church workshop, or the Prayer Tent.
WHAT ABOUT MY MOBILITY CONCERNS?
We are using 3 of the "Bronson Park" churches that are 1-2 blocks apart. Golf carts to travel between buildings can be available if you have concerns about walking that far. All of the buildings are wheelchair accessible. To plan enough volunteers, please inform Heather of your particular needs.
