Come join us for a fun and fast paced introduction to the Blueberry Awards, a new children's literature book award annually honoring the 35 best nature & climate books of the year for kids ages 3 through 10 and up!

The Blueberry committee has some very gifted members including a marine biologist, the city's Sustainability Coordinator, the school district's sustainability coordinator, as well as library collection development managers, library bloggers and children's literature experts! Martha is vegan, owns solar panels and a big home compost operation, but feels her calling is to support parents and teachers who want to raise children who care about God's creation! She's presented the Blueberry Award books to the Illinois Library Association, the Natural Start Alliance, and via Early Childhood Investigations Webinars and more!
