1/1/2024 0 Comments C7 - Mindfulness and YogaLiving in the present moment becomes more accessible when fused with the practice of yoga. Movement and breath work clears the mind, making space to notice and experience the world around us. In this workshop, participants will be guided through a mindfulness meditation followed by a gentle yoga flow practice featuring seated and standing postures. Modifications will be provided, making this practice accessible to participants of all levels.
The workshop is led by certified yoga instructor, Carrie Bernhardt. Presenter: Carrie Bernhardt, St. Paul's Episcopal Church/Mindfulness and Yoga, Indianapolis Carrie Bernhardt is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance and owner of Yoga With Carrie. She has been practicing yoga and mindfulness for more than 20 years and sharing her passion as a teacher for the last 4 years. She leads weekly classes at the Indianapolis International Airport and St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Indianapolis. Carrie believes that Yoga encourages us to recognize that each physical body is gifted with different capabilities. Observing and honoring our uniqueness empowers us to strike a pose that is true - both on and off the mat.
