Dismantling Racism Presenter The Rev. Isaiah “Shaneequa” Brokenleg, Episcopal Church Staff officer for Racial Reconciliation Description Our country, and our church, are reckoning with our history of colonialism and white supremacy. Our tradition calls us, whenever we sin, to “repent and return to the Lord.” One path of repentance is repairing what has been broken by human sin. What does this mean for dismantling racism? Come have a conversation about land acknowledgements, reparations, repudiating the Doctrine of Discovery and other topics that move us towards right relationship and repairing the breach with our siblings of African and Native descent.

This is right up my alley. I have many African-American and native friends as well as Filipino family members. I would love to get more information on this class. Thank you!
