Workshop Description
Women's Ministries are alive and well in Province V. From the historical roots of the Women's Auxilliary to our organizations today, women continue to support the work of the Church. This program will present the arc of women's service from its earlies days, through women's ordination in the 1970's on to the work women are doing now. We will discuss the need to support women's ministries at the congregational level, why women's ministries matter to our Church and how your parish or diocese can begin an organized women's ministries program.
 
Our presenters will be Gail Donovan (W. Michigan) Province V United Thank Offering coordinator; Barbara Jones (Ohio) ECW President; Maryfran Crist (Chicago) Province V Church Periodical Club Coordinator; Connie Ott (Milwaukee) ECW President and Beth Petti (Chicago) Province V Vice President.
